By default when a customer selects a decorated product or design category they see thumbnails of the products or designs within that category. i.e.
However it is possible to include some custom content for each decorated product or design category which can not only provide some useful information for your customer and jazz up the look of that page, but can also act as great SEO content.
Product Pages:
Your product pages are very important. They contain important information relating to your products which you customers and Google will use. Ensure you have adequate product titles and product descriptions for your product. To modify this:
- Log into your DecoNetwork website
- Browse to Manage Fulfillment Center > Products > Manage Products
- Select Configure next to the product you want to modify
- On the General tab update the Product Name and Description area with content relating to the product.
- Click Save to save your changes.
Decorated Product categories:
When you create a decorated product category DecoNetwork will build a readable URL such as www.yoursite.com/shop/category/flowers.
It is also possible to include some custom content just for this category which will display on the product page. To add content to a category:
- Log into your DecoNetwork website
- Browse to Manage Store > Products > Manage Decorated Products
- Your categories appear in the Decorated product categories list on the left side.
- Select the category you want to modify and click Edit in the Decorated product categories section
- Using the WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) HTML editor you can enter the content you want to show for this category including text and images.
When the user selects this category they will see the content plus the products within the category. i.e.
You can apply the same type of content for your design categories by browsing to Browse to Manage Store > Designs > Manage Store Designs.
